Agenda slides appear right at the beginning of your PowerPoint presentation, and first impressions are often the most important. Therefore, use the following techniques to impress your audience with the very first slides.
Agenda slides are meant to outline the structure and organization of your presentation, but unfortunately, they often consist of simple lists. However, they offer numerous design possibilities and can serve as a fantastic eye-catcher. Use the two variations we've presented to pique your audience's interest right from the start!
Option 1: Agenda with pictures

- Include suitable images on the agenda slide and combine them skillfully with text and content.
- Viewers can immediately recognize a clear structure.
- The topics and their sequence in your presentation are easy to follow.
Option 2: Agenda with background image

- In this version, the agenda slide is completely filled with a large background image.
- When choosing the image, please note that part of it will be obscured by the agenda.
- The agenda can be arranged horizontally or vertically, as desired.
You can find suitable templates for both versions in our shop .
- The slides in the templates can be edited and filled with any content you like.
- Simply copy your text into the existing text boxes, but be careful not to insert too much text. Clarity is very important on agenda slides.
- You can change the images by right-clicking on the image and selecting "Change image" from the context menu. Now choose a new image that suits your presentation and insert it.
- If needed, you can also adjust the image crop and adapt it perfectly to your requirements: To do this, click on the square containing the image and then, in the Picture Tools/Format tab, select Crop . Now choose Fill Area and adjust your subject to the desired size using the black bars at the edges. Finally, if necessary, click on the image with your mouse and move it as desired.
Finally, here are 3 tips for a perfect agenda:

- Don't use "Agenda" as the title; instead, think of a more exciting alternative to pique the audience's curiosity.
- Try to keep all images in a consistent style; this will make your agenda look cohesive. The colors should be coordinated, which can be adjusted under color saturation and hue if necessary.
- Don't make your agenda too colorful; instead, stick to one color scheme with different shades.
