Checkliste 5: Was Sie nach dem Vortrag noch tun können

Checklist 5: What you can still do after the presentation

|Tom Schweitzer
You did it! To enjoy your well-deserved evening after your presentation, it's best to take care of any necessary tidying up or similar tasks in advance. After all, falling into a state of great commotion after a successful presentation, especially after such thorough preparation, is certainly not the point.
Instead, why not chat with some members of the audience?
  • Make sure there are ways for the audience to get in touch.
  • Have business cards and other handouts ready.
  • Will there be further discussion after the event? Is there a need for it? Are suitable rooms available? (This may need to be considered when preparing the presentation.)
  • Is a personal farewell to selected individuals appropriate/necessary?
All's well that ends well:
  • Remove files from the training computer.
  • Pack all your own equipment.
  • Close the windows/doors. (Who has the key?)
  • Clarify responsibilities for cleanup and waste disposal.
  • Clean up/Restore the room to its original condition.
  • In case of schedule changes: Please note the changed departure time/late departure from the premises.
Congratulations on your successful presentation organization! The great thing about our checklists is that you can reuse them as often as you like. By adding your own points to the lists, you'll be perfectly prepared for any eventuality related to presentations in the future. Did you find this blog series helpful?
