Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) PowerPoint Presentation

Total Productive Maintenance refers to the effective use of production facilities by transferring responsibility for routine maintenance tasks to production personnel. Total productive maintenance enables functional malfunctions to be reduced, set-up and set-up times to be reduced, process reliability to be high, and the systems to be easy to operate and maintain.

The overall goal of this modern maintenance concept is to maximize the productivity of the entire system. There are also parallels to kaizen or lean production, because from the basic idea Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a program for continuous improvement in all areas of a company.
